Meet your Photographer
I’m a First-Gen Latina, daughter of immigrants from El Salvador, born and raised in San Francisco. My friends call me Angie. I’m a mother to my favorite little girl and wife to a loving and fun husband.
One of my personal passions in life is music! My go to genre’s include anything from: neo-soul, r&b, 90’s throwbacks, disco, funky, motown, reggaeton, cumbias, salsa, hip hop, edm, pop, indie rock, or classic rock. You can say my choice in music is versatile and I’m always ready for a karaoke. A perfect night out includes good food, dirty martinis, and oysters with my girlfriends. I absolutely love food and will try almost anything! I’m a city girl but I love soaking in the sun-ray’s at the beach, visiting museums, indulging in the latest trash TV, camping, hiking, road tripping, and traveling. During my downtime I look forward to being with my family.
I’m a Sagittarius Sun and Rising, with a Capricorn Moon. I’m a little bit of a workaholic (i just LOVE my job lol). I’m spontaneous and optimistic about life. I’m the type of person who will push you to be your best and will bring positive vibes to your function. I value family, living a good healthy life, and I believe in leading with love.
Documenting and taking photos is a LIFESTYLE. I’ve been photographing since I was teen and it has evolved with me overtime. I’m inspired by my roots, family, interior design, fashion, cinematic films, my art community, architecture, or a breathe taking view. My style is filmy, a little street, candid, stylish, fun, filled with unplanned and raw moments, timeless, with a dash of an editorial. I’m a photographer who specializes in 35mm film, medium format, and Super8. Film photography has taught me the technicalities on the art of photography and has showed me how to move with intention with my subjects. Overtime i’ve learned to document with instinct and simply be in the moment.
As your photographer, you should feel seen in the spaces that mean the most to you, with the people who make you feel good about loving life. Life is about making the most from the time spent with our loved ones and surrounding ourselves with the things that brings us joy. We can’t redo moments in our lives so our time should not be compromised. I love working with couples who are getting married, with entrepreneurs who are starting a business or looking for a rebrand, and with mamas who want to document their motherhood journey.

Yeah I went to college! I graduated from SFSU with a B.A. in International Relations and Labor Law. I was working with Apple for now 7 years and I said good bye to that 9-5 in 2016 to pursue backpacking. I slept in hostels, met a lot of cool people, ate good food, saw some gorgeous places, and photographed portraits along the way.

I have a crazy love for hot cheetos. The good news, they’re gluten free but I know they are soooo bad for you lol. I also love watching trash TV. My current obsession: The Real Housewives, 90 day fiancé, love is blind, and any murder mystery documentaries. I also enjoy watching cinematic films by Quentin Tarantino, Spike Lee, Wong Kar Wai, or anything produced by A-24 films.

Traveling has been the biggest blessing in my life. I’ve been able to visit India, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Guatemala, Japan, and many cities in the USA. The next place I want to experience is Italy :)

For weddings, I shoot the entire day mostly on film and digital. There’s no limit on how many rolls of fiIm I use. I also offer Super8 film, which is available as an add on. However if you’re interested in only super8, please inquire for more details on this.
As for portraits and brands, you can choose between digital or film photography.

**The more time we’re together, you can expect to receive more images. You will receive everything that's up to my standards. No raw photos.

I would recommend we shoot in places that have meaning to you. Whether it’s at your first date, where you spend your time the most, or at my natural light studio. Just know I’m down to hit the museums, a cafe, your favorite neighborhood, at the beach, on a hike in a national park or in your home. The possibilities are endless.
I’m born and raised in San Francsic, I can always recommend some great locations depending on your vibe.

Absolutely. My offerings already include travel in California, Domestic, and International. I’ll take care of the travel logistics. You just have to show up and have fun.

I encourage the 7 month mark (27-30 weeks). Most women are showing during this time and can comfortably move around without feeling too uncomfortable.

To confirm your date and officially get you on my calendar— a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit is due.
Wedding Deposit— $1,000
Elopement— $500
Brands— 50%
Portraits— $150
**All deposits go towards your session total. The remaining balance is due the day before your session or wedding.

Weddings— I recommend booking 6 to 18 months out. July to October are the most popular dates. So don’t wait!
Brands + Portraits— Please plan ahead of time and book at least 2-3 months out. Weekend dates get booked first. I’m available most weekdays in the morning to shoot.
